Documenting a drone art project about how machines decide what they see.
Why?
Ideas rarely become dangerous through bad intentions. They become dangerous through small, reasonable translations. Each one loses a little meaning and gains a little certainty. No one checks back.
False Positive makes that visible. A small drone gets one simple, kind goal. Every few seconds it takes a photo, describes it in one sentence, and decides where to go next using only that sentence. Every step is reasonable. Over thirty steps, the meaning drifts and the certainty grows.
This is where I document building it: the code, the failures, the film, and what it shows about how ideas go wrong, in machines and in people.
